My journey in finance began in the corporate world, but I didn't feel fulfilled there. I longed for a more tangible way to use my background to positively influence others.
In 2016, my perspective shifted dramatically as my wife, Melissa, underwent breast cancer treatment. This period of self-reflection taught me that tomorrow is not promised, and it inspired me to take steps to truly enjoy today. I realized the importance of working as part of a team dedicated to improving our clients' lives. The talented individuals at Guardian make it a joy to collaborate and support our clients together.
I find great interest in the psychology and behavioral finance aspects of our profession. Many people tend to overreact to market movements, but at Guardian, we remain steadfastly focused on the long term. This commitment ensures that our clients' investment strategies and plans stay on track, free from the influence of short-term fluctuations.
Family is my cornerstone. My wife, Melissa, and our daughter, Dakota, mean everything to me. In every decision I make, I ask myself, "Would Dakota be proud of me?" This question serves as my guiding principle. I cherish the time spent with my family and love engaging in all of Dakota's activities.
Melissa and I are also passionate about supporting Foster Adopt Minnesota (FAM), a non-profit organization that provides services, resources, and education to adoptive, foster, and kinship families. Adopting Dakota has been the single greatest experience of our lives, and we are committed to helping other families experience the same joy and fulfillment.
