With over 30 years of experience in the investment management business, my role as Vice President of Operations allows me to focus on what truly matters: building meaningful relationships. Working with a relationship-focused team, I prioritize getting to know our clients, understanding that these long-term connections benefit them through both their best and worst moments.
In the office, I embrace a variety of roles. I'm responsible for marketing and brand development, ensuring that all reports and client invoices are accurate. As the resident technology enthusiast, I also serve as our in-house resource for technology systems and applications.
My academic journey began at the University of Minnesota, where I graduated magna cum laude with a double major in international relations and Scandinavian studies, and a minor in Danish. In 1993, I joined Kopp Investment Advisors, starting in the marketing department. There, I gained valuable experience as a resource for clients and brokers interested in our mutual funds, honed my graphic design skills through marketing campaigns, and became the in-house designer.
Outside of work, you'll often find me with a camera or garden spade in hand. Photography has been a passion since I got my first film camera at age 11, and gardening has been a lifelong pursuit. I love to travel, especially to Denmark, where 90% of my extended family resides. Within the U.S., I frequently visit California, home to all of my in-laws. I'm also proud to volunteer and serve as a board member of the Danish American Center.
